If you are underinsured – and need primary health care in the Greater Waterbury community – then, the Malta House of Care can help.


There are only three criteria to meet for receiving care at Malta Waterbury:

Patients will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients should register as early as possible on the day you would like to be seen. Registration begins at 12 noon at the clinic location. If you speak a language other than English or Spanish, please bring an English-speaking family member or friend to act as an interpreter.


Additional services are provided in partnership with the Waterbury Health Access Program (WHAP). WHAP Case Managers can assist Malta Waterbury patients to: (1) enroll in a health insurance program; (2) find a medical home or specialist; (3) or apply for free or low-cost prescription drug programs. WHAP case managers speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
